Dr Sadat EDROOS

BSc(Hons) MBChB MSt PhD FRCP(UK)

Dr Edroos trained and worked at three of the busiest centres for interventional cardiology in the UK, Ireland and Canada, prior to his current post in Luton & Dunstable University Hospital, where he is the lead for interventional cardiology.

He has formal research training in Leicester, under the supervision of the current medical director of the British Heart Foundation, with work on cardioprotection that received national awards from the National Institute for Health Research and led to being awarded a PhD. He continues to publish and present his work on interventional cardiology internationally.

He is the undergraduate co-lead for students in medicine based at Luton & Dunstable University Hospital, who are from University College London Medical School. He supervises junior doctors in cardiology at all stages of training, and trained in medical education at the University of Cambridge.
